Count all the stars with me,
1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16
16 stars we can see.
Introduce number 16 by showing its flash card.
l
l Form number 16 in the air using your finger and let the children repeat
after you.

l Get children to form number 16 on the sand.
