Let’s Get Started Count and colour

Revise numbers 1-14.

Sing the below rhyme :
l
14 big stars up in the sky,
and then came 1 more.
Count all the stars with me,
1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15
15 stars we can see.
Draw 14 stars on the board and count along with the children.
l
l Draw 1 more star and ask the children to count it.
Guide them if needed. Get them to understand that 15 is 1 more than 14.
l
Introduce the number 15 with its flash card.
l
l Write number 15 in the air using your finger and let the children repeat
after you.
l Get children to form number 15 on the sand.
