Time
The face of a clock is called dial.
It is divided into 12 equal parts from 1 to 12.
There are 2 hands on the clock.
The short hand shows the hours.
The long hand shows the minutes.
The thin hand shows the second.
In this clock, the time is 3 o’clock.
1 day = 24 hours
So, the hour hand moves twice round the dial of the clock in one day.
1 hour = 60 minutes
1 minute = 60 seconds
